Case Studies

By far our most usual contracts are for setting appointments either for sales departments or for business proprietors who are looking for sales opportunities.

Sports cerebral coach
The Appointments Company was engaged to make appointments for an innovative business and fitness coach/consultant who has developed a system of enhancing wellness in the work place, which promotes increased efficiency and dramatically reduces absenteeism. Unfortunately, the target market wasn’t ready for such a scheme and we were subsequently tasked with finding a solution for our client.
Because we take the trouble to understand our clients’ business proposition, we were able to suggest that we redirect our efforts towards the sports sector, utilising our client’s sporting background, her NLP qualifications and her coaching and motivational abilities. A new plan of action was developed and we were very soon able to find good leads and make appointments for our client.

Apprentice placements
One of the most rewarding contracts we have had to date involved working with a company who work with talented young people wanting to train as accountants. They provide a fast track apprentice scheme that qualifies the apprentice to AAT Level 3 in record time.

The Appointments Company was engaged to provide qualified appointments with companies of all kinds for the client’s placement consultants, with a view to putting the case forward for engaging an apprentice.

The work we did in a little over eight days provided enough qualified appointments to place 10 apprentices, with another four placements in the pipeline.

National fast food franchises
The Appointments Company was engaged to make appointments for a group of four franchised food outlets. Due to local competition on the high street, the shops were losing market share, and the owners were looking for a proactive way of marketing their business. The Appointments Company were called in to look at how we might help the company increase its regular sales.

Together with the partners, we came up with the idea of providing food to offices and factories within a ten mile radius of the shops.

We made appointments for the two directors to visit medium to large organisations. They took samples of their food for the contacts to sample with a view to providing a daily delivery service for their staff and also to provide food for their regular board meetings.

After carrying out research in the catchment area, we were able to provide a list of companies that met our clients’ criteria and make appointments for them. The project proved very successful and met all of the preset goals.

Domestic Letting Agent
The Appointments Company was engaged to carry out telemarketing and appointment setting for a Hertfordshire based letting agent, who wanted to make contact with local landlords. The company had previously unsuccessfully carried out their own telemarketing in house.

The client company was well marketed to young professionals and had a number of clients looking for medium term lets. The Appointments Company’s task was to compile a data base and call all the local landlords to offer a managed service with a guaranteed occupancy deal, thus relieving the landlords of the necessity to keep advertising and managing the lets.

The method developed by The Appointments Company proved to be very successful and the letting agent was able to put a good number of new landlords onto his books.

In order to protect our clients’ confidentiality, we have not provided any of their names but references can be supplied on request. Please see the contact us form at the top right of this web page.
